At Real Food Garden, we are passionate about nourishing both people and place. Through restorative agriculture, we work to restore the health of the land, enhance biodiversity, and foster deeper human-nature connections. Our farming practices focus on improving the soil, increasing resilience, and supporting a thriving ecosystem.
Our Values
We founded Real Food Garden in 2016, united by our drive to create a more sustainable, harmonious way of farming. Amelia, our Head Grower, brings over 15 years of experience in horticulture, having trained with the RHS and the Eden Project. Chloe, with her background in sustainable technology and a knack for numbers, handles the business side of things—though she’s never far from the garden, especially when it comes to weeding! We’re both passionate about soil health, biodiversity, and continuously improving the garden to support a thriving ecosystem.
Our methods and approach reflect our unique opportunity to work with a feminine touch. We pay close attention to detail, aim for harmonious systems and bring added insight. Our focus, from the outset, on nourishing people and place reflects the feminine approach to producing food. We are proud that our feminine farming bucks the trends and begins the work of healing the food system one family meal at a time.

For us, growing good food means more than just great taste—it’s about restoring and enriching the land. We focus on improving biodiversity by planting diverse crops, creating wildlife corridors, and preserving field margins, all of which support pollinators and local wildlife. Our commitment to soil health and organic principles helps make our food nutrient-dense and the ecosystem resilient. By planting trees, maintaining woodlands, and using 100% renewable energy, we sequester carbon and actively fight climate change for generations to come.
At Real Food Garden, food is a source of nourishment in every sense. It’s not only delicious and nutrient-rich, but it also supports rural livelihoods, strengthens our community, and fosters a deeper connection to the land. Through our farm shop and veg box scheme, we connect people directly with food production, delivering top-quality produce with transparency. By supporting us, customers become part of the regenerative food movement. We invite you to visit us throughout the year for events and behind-the-scenes access to meet your growers. Sign up to our newsletter to stay up to date with all our events.
We are a small team on the farm but we love working with others to make an even bigger impact.
We would like to introduce you to some folk who we think are fantastic:
