Join our Grow Your Own workshop series at Real Food Garden in 2025 and learn the skills to grow your own food successfully with expert guidance. Our hands-on workshops are set in a thriving, organic, no-dig market garden in Cornwall and are designed for both beginners and experienced gardeners.

Led by Amelia Lake, Head Grower at Real Food Garden, each seasonal workshop covers essential topics including soil health, planting, pest control, seed saving, and more. Explore spring, summer, and autumn gardening techniques and understand how to adapt your growing methods to the changing seasons.

Take part in all three workshops for a comprehensive gardening experience, with practical demonstrations and a full tour of the garden. Book all three sessions and receive a £10 discount.

Focusing on maintaining a productive veg garden, with guidance on plant health, fertility, and pest control. Topics include:

Composting and compost teas
Identifying and managing plant health issues
Weed and pest control strategies
Successional planting and planning for winter

Grow Your Own – Autumn 

Sunday, 14th September 2025

Preparing for winter and extending the growing season. Topics include:

Winter cropping and using greenhouses or tunnels effectively
Seed saving for resilience and cost savings
Preserving and storing produce
Soil health and green manures
