Enjoy sustainable meat from rare breed, slow reared, pasture fed livestock

We are proud to produce top quality meat from our rare-breed, free-range, conservation grazing livestock. Our livestock contribute to conservation across Mid-Cornwall as well as providing fertility for our veg production, increasing bio-abundance and closing the loop on food waste. We select native breeds and rear them slowly and naturally to create high quality meat that tastes great and supports human health.

We work with the seasons and aim to produce meat only when it is at its absolute best.
Our meat boxes are available at different times throughout the year to pre-order and collect from our farm shop only.

Our 2025 Christmas meat boxes are now available to pre-order!

This year we’re offering a selection of pasture-reared, high-welfare meat from our own rare breed herds, raised slowly and naturally on our local pastures. From Dexter beef to our free-range pork and lamb, each box is packed with flavour, perfect for a festive feast or to enjoy over the season. Every animal is reared with care, supporting biodiversity and sustainable farming, so you can feel good about what’s on your table.

All boxes are available in limited numbers for collection from the farm shop.

BEEF BOXES

Rare breed cattle

We keep English Longhorn cattle, an ancient breed which is renowned for high quality beef as well as its stunning looks and use in conservation grazing. We rear our Longhorns without supplementary feeding, allowing them to grow slowly and naturally and improving the texture and flavour of the beef.

Our beef boxes contain a diverse range of cuts such as joints from topside, silverside, top rump, shoulder, brisket & rib, a mix of sirloin, rump, fillet, stewing steak, shin & skirt and mince.

PORK & GAMMON BOXES

Productive Pigs

Our pork and gammon all come from our free-range, native breed pigs. The pigs act as natural ploughs for our veg production and close the loop on veg waste, turning unsaleable produce into delicious protein. We rear them naturally, on grass, veg and grains and without antibiotics and with lots of tlc!

Our sausages are renowned for amazing flavour and are included in our pork boxes. We offer 5kg and 10kg pork boxes and small and large gammon boxes which contain our fantastic gammon as well as back and streaky bacon.

LAMB, HOGGET & MUTTON

Grazing lambs

We rear our lambs the traditional way, they feed on 100% pasture, mature slowly and naturally, improving places as they go. From our flock of native breeds we produce lamb and the original lamb or hogget which has a superior texture and flavour.

Our lamb boxes are sold as half or wholes and come with the options of whole or half joints and bone in or out. They have a range of mince, chops and joints. We also occasionally have mutton and this is very popular, so get in quick!

We believe that nothing should go to waste, so if you want to add some luxury to your home head to see our cosy sheepskins.
